Jamall Bufford & Kensaye – “Freedom Is” (Mini Documentary) + Album

Detroit emcee Jamall Bufford has released an album called Freedom Is with French producer Kensaye.

Upon release of the album, the two wanted the world to get to know them both a little better, so with that, they’ve debuted their “Freedom Is” mini documentary.

The two met when Kensaye asked to interview Jamall Bufford for his online podcast that runs out of Morocco. They connected, Kensaye shared beats and the duo got to work.

This album is, as the name suggests, about freedom. It’s not only a statement but also an exploration of freedom’s complexity, as well as a question aimed at engaging the listener and provoking thought.
