Brasstracks is a young Brooklyn-based producer/musician duo, fresh out of graduating with music majors and full of enthusiasm, they speak about their movement and their musical process. Producer Kensaye had the opportunity to interview the duo on his radio show recently.
“I discovered Ivan and Connor on Soundcloud. They only had two tracks on their profile at the time, but the sounds mesmerized me straight away. A beautiful mixture of soul, electro, RnB and Trap with plenty of live instrumentation.
What caught my ear was how they flipped an Aaliyah classic into a modern day Bass sound with live drums and horns. It could have gone either way, but turned out to be a refreshing listen!”
