Frisco reveals his new single ‘Different Kind’ featuring Shakka, Coming straight off the back of his collaboration with Chase & Status on ‘Funny’, taken from their ‘London Bars Vol. 1’ project which dropped earlier in the month.
The single released via Boy Better Know , is definitely something ‘different’ for Big Fris as he takes on an unexpected rock beat. Shakka, the latest artist to be signed to DJ Target & Danny Weeds Sony imprint label Pitched Up, brings the liquid gold on the hook and Frisco’s gritty tone works amazingly next to the bass guitar and drums.
The video for ‘Different Kind’, premiered on The Fader, is the perfect accompaniment to this energetic track.
The spotlight is on Frisco and Shakka in this stripped-back video, set in a vacant warehouse, and with their charismatic performances it is clear to see how much these artists enjoy working together.
