Sir The Baptist Wants To “Raise Hell” With New Single

Sir The Baptist is ready to raise some hell with his new single “Raise Hell”, which has been dubbed as the modern day civil rights anthem. The urban hymnist from Chicago has teamed up with BET.com to release the video of the song that he will be performing live at The Bet Experience in L.A. on Saturday to kick of the annual BET Awards. Borrowing heavily from gospel and hip-hop traditions, the R&B/soul crooner has crafted a one-of-a-kind, socio-political juggernaut, pinpointing the urgency and angst surrounding current issues with racism and police brutality.

“There’s something boiling in this generation of youth,” Sir explains.
